His spirited brand of Funky Mountain Soul Music blends elements of Rock, Appalachian Roots, Ryhthm & Blues. Luke sculpts each song into a landscape of sound with his complex Piano style and powerful Voice. He leads a high energy group of musical pioneers known as Luke Johnson Band. LJB currently features a Cajon Drummer, a Saxophonist and three part harmony Vocals. Luke enjoys playing classic selections from the American songbook alongside his original and improvisational songs. He is always excited to create the right vibe for each entertainment experience, engage with new listeners and inspire fellow music lovers. Luke has transmitted his music around the Shenandoah Valley, Northern Virginia, Maryland and beyond for over 30 years.
